 More and more lap pools constructions are being requested
by home owners , a lap pool is specifically designed for the purpose
of swimming laps. Genesis Pools is a lap swimming pool contractor
who believes a true lap pool construction should be at least 40ft in
length. Lap pool construction should also include an automatic pool
cover in order to keep heating cost down and keep the pool clean.
Another benefit and some times quite beneficial of lap pool construction
with an automatic pool cover is , avoiding expensive fence and gate
requirements most cities ask for , the automatic cover on your lap pool
will help you avoid the requirements . Lap pool construction takes the
same amount of time as a free-form pool and the cost are very similar.
Lap pool construction has the same processes and requirements as a
free-form pool , but maybe a bit less cosmetic masonry which offsets
the additional length required in lap pool construction. The depth
of a lap pool can vary, I recommend 3 ½ft to 4 ½ft to 4ft as this will
help keep the water temperature warmer. Lap pools constructions
may some times be a candidate for a heat pump, especially if you
have a solar panel system at your residence, some lap pool contractors
will over promise the benefits of a heat pump. From my experience they
are misleading expectations of the benefits of heat pumps. The
automatic pool cover , shallow depth and a pool solar water system
are most beneficial in lap pools construction. |
